Professional Experience

Dra. Patricia Martínez started her carrier at the Ophthalmologic Institute Ramon Pando Ferrer, Havana. She specialised in the anterior eye segment, focusing on the surgery of cataracts, glaucoma, conjunctiva and on other surgeries related to the anterior eye segment. From 2010 she participated at a fellowship program in Madrid and worked as specialist for cataract and refractive surgery at the Alcorcon Foundation University and as Head of the Ophthalmologic Diagnostic Imaging Department at the INCIVI institute. In 2014 she co-founded Clinica Mirabell in Tenerife where she holds the function as Medical Director and Head of the Department of Anterior Segment, Cataract and Glaucoma. She is author of numerous publications and worked as volunteer in various international expeditions for cataract and pterygium surgeries. |
