Prof. Dr. Dr. Mustafa Bozbuğa started his primary education at Sultanahmet 44 primary school, after graduating from Vefa High School got chance to study in (Capa) Medical School of Istanbul university through passing the Turkish university exams. He has become a Medical doctor by graduating from the university with a high degree on 1983.
After completing his Enacted Compulsory Service Act, the faculty that he has graduated (Istanbul university Medical School) has specialized in Neurosurgery, Brain and Nerve Surgery between (1985 – 1991), on 24th october 1991 Prof. Dr.Dr. Bozbuğa has become an Neurosurgical Expert, during his specialization between 1988 and 1989 He has educated "Micro-neurosurgery” in Zurich University Hospital at the Chair of Neurosurgery and had a chance to work with Prof. Dr. M. Gazi Yasargil in micro-neurosurgical laboratory and clinic During his specialization he has been involved in to the "International fellowship" program between (May 1993 – May 1994) in George Washington University School of Medicine Head of Neurosurgery USA, beside Prof. Dr. L. N. Sekhar in the field of "Basal Surgery and Micro-neurosurgery" and later completed an "International fellowship" program (june 1994 – october 1994) in Osaka City University Faculty of Medicine, Chair of Neurosurgery Japan, beside Prof. Dr. Akira Hakuba and also in the field of "Basal Surgery and Micro-neurosurgery".
Following to hes abroad education, has worked in instructional and Research Hospital Brain and Neurosurgery Clinic between october 1994 and january 2001, on 25 november 1999 he has become an Neurosurgery Associate professor.
