Degree in Medicine from the University of Granada, Dr. Said Barakat made the MIR of Cardiology at the Carlos Haya Hospital in Malaga and later became head of the Cardiology Unit Parque San Antonio Hospital of Malaga, a position he continues to play today. Since 2003, Dr. Said Barakat also heads the Cardiology Unit of the Hospital Chiron Marbella.
Dr. Barakat is the author of three books: "Electrocardiography for residents", "Emergency Manual" and "Protocol on Infective Endocarditis Performances". In turn, the doctor has made a total of 82 communications published in Congress, having been awarded many of them, among which include "Action protocol in infectious endocarditis," published in the Guide to the Spanish Society of Cardiology, "Coronary heart disease in women" and "refractory angina."
Currently, Dr. Said Barakat combines his dedication to medicine with the diplomatic corps, and since 1997 the cardiologist in charge of the Diplomatic Corps and the Commonwealth of Saudi Arabia by the Embassy of that country in Malaga.
He is also Head of Unit Neumopac (pulmonary function tests) and Head of the Nuclear Cardiology Institute in Málaga Tanit. |
