Dr Poon has keen interest in sarcoma, melanoma, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer, neuroendocrine tumours and geriatric oncology.
He is also an active clinical investigator in multiple investigator-initiated and pharma clinical trials. His research work in oncology has been extensively published in international oncology journals. |

Founding President of the Society of Geriatric Oncology in Singapore.
He underwent advanced specialty training in medical oncology at National Cancer Centre, Singapore (NCCS), and subsequently practised as a consultant in NCCS. |
