Having extensive experience in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery.
Training in cardiac thoracic and vascular surgery began in 1982 under Prof HH Bentall at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School Hammersmith Hospital London.
Training under Dr Hartzelll Schaff at the Mayo Clinic in the USA in 1990.
Speciality training at the National Heart Centre in the Singapore General Hospital, the Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur, the Klang General hospital, the National University Hospital, Mahkota Medical Centre Malacca, Mt Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and the Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore.
Associate Professor and is now Clinical Senior Lecturer at the NUH.
Visiting Senior Consultant to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Supervisor to the junior surgeons and overseas surgeons under provisional registration. |
