Dr Chin Tan Min is a Senior Consultant, Medical Oncologist at Parkway Cancer Centre. Dr Chin’s area of expertise and interest is in lung cancers, in addition to general oncology.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore (MBBS) in 1997, and completed her internal medicine and oncology training at National University Hospital (NUH). In 2006, she was awarded the Singapore Government Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) fellowship to pursue further sub-specialisation training in thoracic oncology with a clinical and research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Centre, USA.
Prior to private practice, Dr Chin was practising as a senior consultant at the National University Cancer Institute at NUH, and visiting consultant at Ng Teng Fong Hospital till 2017. Her commitment to patient care has been recognised by Spring’s excellent service award. In addition, she contributes her expertise in thoracic oncology in various Ministry Of Health (MOH) committees, formulating guidelines on screening and treatment for lung cancers. She is also advisory member for lung cancer for Singapore Cancer Society, and has been involved in educational talks for the public. She was core faculty for the oncology senior residency program at National University Health System (NUHS).
Dr Chin is the Principal Associate at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, where she continues her current research. She is member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research and the International Association of Lung Cancer.
With a keen and active interest in translational and clinical research to better patient care, she has conducted numerous international industry sponsored and investigator initiated clinical trials as principal and co-investigator.
