National Heart Centre Singapore

The National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHC) is the country’s major referral center for cardiovascular concerns. It provides a comprehensive range of cardiac services that cover prevention, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation. NHC caters to both local and foreign patients.

NHC houses a total of 186 beds to accommodate inpatients. The hospital admits almost 10,000 inpatients annually; over 80,000 outpatient consultations, 75,000 cardiac procedures and about 1,700 operations each year. The hospital provides 24-hour cardiac and angioplasty services.

The NHC is the first heart centre to be accredited by JCI outside of the US and the first one in Asia likewise. The hospital also belongs to the cluster of SingHealth; a group of healthcare providers in Singapore.
