Gozo Hospital - Overview
Gozo General Hospital is one of the larger hospitals in Malta with 159 beds. Even with its larger size, the Ministry for Gozo combined with the administration of the hospital endeavor to make the best use of all the available space on the grounds of the hospital in order to provide the community with state-of-the-art medical care.
This falls in line with the commitment to assure diagnostic treatment in addition to other medical care facilities from all the hospitals on an in-patient and out-patient basis as deemed necessary. This includes a recent modernization program and complete upgrades in services to all government hospitals and the addition of a new hospital in Malta.
