The Buenos Aires British Hospital, founded in 1844, is a non-profit, public welfare organization, devoted to upgrade people’s health and to provide medical and hospital services of the highest quality within strict ethical codes, and with a firm commitment to society.

The British Hospital gives medical care to a wide cross-section of the Argentine community, and it maintains its original mission of providing medical services to the English speaking community and their descendants, in accordance their traditions and principles.

Furthermore, it is dedicated to the training of medical doctors and nurses, with a level of academic excellency, contributing with effort and perseverance to the advance of medicine.

Hospital Accreditation

The British Hospital Buenos Aires has been granted the Full Accreditation for a three-year term, the highest accreditation provided by the Technical Institute of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions (ITAES).
ITAES, a non-profit private institution, is the first in its kind performing healthcare quality assessments with the technical reliability and proven objectivity, following strict international standards on professional and human resources, management systems, technology and infrastructure.
