Changi General Hospital - Overview
The Changi General Hospital is a major hospital catering to the healthcare needs of people in the eastern end of Singapore. The hospital has a bed capacity of 790 and a range of medical and paramedical services that cover a wide area of specialties. The Changi General Hospital houses its services in a nine storey building that span a huge area of land. The 790 beds are distributed in the hospital’s 26 wards. Changi General Hospital’s first certification of the ISO was in 1996 – the ISO 9002:1994. In 1998, the hospital received the ISO 1401 certification. In 2002, the hospital was awarded the ISO 9001:2000.
